About Me.

A Global Citizen Scholar

The vision of the University Honors Program here at the University of Cincinnati is: Developing students into global citizen scholars who lead innovative efforts towards solving the world’s most complex problems. Now that sounds inspiring, but what exactly does it mean to me?

Looking forward to the rest of my undergraduate education, this means seeking out diversity and new experiences in my everyday interactions. I do not fear differences and change, but rather embrace them wholeheartedly. I strive to get involved in and care about the many communities that make up and surround the university in any ways that I can.

Current Involvements: Kappa Alpha Theta Women's Fraternity - Alpha Tau Chapter, Junior Panhellenic Executive Council, Student Nurses' Association, Greek Cru, Catholic Bearcats, the NeW Chapter, College Panhellenic Council

Strengths: Discipline, Relator, Harmony, Futuristic, Maximizer

Being a part of the honors program is a great privilege, not to be taken lightly. It grants me the opportunity to engage in and experience areas outside of the classroom and outside of my comfort zone where I can help myself grow personally, while also helping others in need.

It is the perfect playground for exploring my own capabilities of innovation and forging new paths not yet traveled. This time of safe trial and error is so important to both my learning and future innovations. However, the most vital part of this whole equation is to care, to harbor a deep desire to make a difference and be the change.

Through this program I have been exposed to so much good, and I have gained invaluable knowledge about how to seek out new and exciting opportunities (service trips, executive positions, a co-op) all on my own.
